Works First Programme

This scheme has been put in place to encourage local businesses to trade with local businesses. Premier Waste Services (UK) Limited have become apart of this local authority through the awarding of the Chain Skip Contract back in April 2010. We have progressed with the council and local authorities to work with local tradesmen, businesses and regeneration schemes, to help promote careers and sustainability within our surrounding area. Councillor Oldham added: Our priorities are and must be on supporting our own community. So our focus will be on helping small and medium-sized businesses to survive and thrive in the difficult times that lie ahead.

Premier Waste Services (UK) Limited is proud to announce the successful achievement of being awarded Kier North West Sustainability Award. Premier Waste Services has been working alongside Kier North West on many large projects across the North West of the England, encouraging project teams to be involved with the recycling and segragtion process, and to set and meet recycling targets successfully. Premier Waste takes the responsibility of all waste movements and removals that take place on Kier North West projects, managing site audits, waste reporting and Duty of Care.

New Plant and Equipment

Premier Waste Services (UK) Limited is committed to minimising the quantities of waste sent to landfill, however, in order to do this successfully, modern waste handling equipment is required. Premier Waste Services independently finances all new and upgraded machinery, to enable quality recyclable material segregation. With a recent delivery of three new waste handling machines, all purchased from JCB, and along with the recycling transfer station and our educated, hard working team, we are able to increase recycling rates and sustain future targets.

New fleet of vehicles

Premier Waste has recently increased its fleet to 20 vehicles in standard Premier livery. This will ensure that we provide reliable deliveries using efficient transportation.
